Kendrick Perkins believes Bronny James can stay in the NBA

Kendrick Perkins, Austin Rivers, Bobby Marks and Adrian Wojnarowski discussed Bronny James' potential in the NBA. The ESPN panel is examining the chances of the former USC Trojan being selected in the 2024 NBA Draft this June.

Bronny has put in some encouraging workouts in recent weeks and has earned some respect from NBA draft evaluators. However, Bronny was low on the list of prospects before NBA Draft workouts began. Even though these positive results have improved his overall position, his position probably still doesn't remain that high on the big board. Bronny most likely still has a lot of work to do, about five weeks before the NBA Draft.

Kendrick Perkins, a member of the aforementioned ESPN panel, believes there is a place for Bronny James in the NBA, but that's not a unanimous verdict. This also doesn't mean that Bronny is failing in the true sense. He simply didn't have enough time to develop his game. Due to his heart attack in early July, he was unable to practice offseason throughout the summer in 2023. Bronny needs time to develop his body and his game. That's one of the reasons Kendrick Perkins is optimistic about Bronny as an NBA prospect.
