Taylor Swift fan gets her boyfriend’s marriage proposal in live stream at Eras Tour with

It's a love story – and this Swiftie just said “Yes!”

While live streaming Taylor Swift's Eras Tour show in Portugal at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon on Friday, May 24, Beatriz Simões unexpectedly filmed her boyfriend proposing to her during “Love Story.”

Simões, 23, kept her stream going while Ricardo Matos, 20, got down on one knee at the exact moment Swift, 34, sang: “He got down on his knees, pulled out a ring and said, 'Marry me, Julia, you'll never have to be alone.'”

“It was a total surprise,” Simões tells PEOPLE a day after the proposal, during which she sobbed and silently said “yes” to Matos. “I'm still in complete shock. It was magical and everyone was so happy.”

The couple, who met five years ago and have been together for three years, live together in Porto, Portugal.

Matos chose the right time to propose to Simões: he waited until the eighth song in Swift's 46-song setlist to ask her the question.

“He kept singing the song over and over and I just ugly cried and hugged him,” Simões says before sending PEOPLE a one-minute clip of her stream.

Swift continued singing, unaware of what was happening in section 3, while Matos lip-synced, “I love you and that's all I really know. I talked to your daddy, pick out a white dress. It's a love story, baby, just say yes.”

Keren Noyman, 28, who was also at the concert on May 24, captured the Swiftie colleagues' marriage proposal from a different angle.

“I was jealous because the last time I was with my boyfriend of eight years, I didn't get a proposal,” jokes Noyman, who lives in Tel Aviv, to PEOPLE. “But seriously, I saw proposals like that online as a kid, so it was super exciting to see it through my own eyes. They were insanely sweet and everyone around us was super excited and so happy for them!”

At each stop on the Eras Tour, the 14-time Grammy winner plays two songs or mashups just for the evening's audience, acoustically on either piano or guitar.

“One of the surprise songs was 'Come Back…Be Here', one of our songs when we were in a long-distance relationship. [for two years]“We looked at each other in shock,” says Simões of Swift’s guitar mashup of “Come Back…Be Here,” “The Way I Loved You” and “The Other Side of the Door.”

Fans who watched Simões' stream around the world were not only shocked by the live-streamed marriage proposal, but also surprised that she left the stream running for the rest of the concert.
