How to watch Euro 2024 live matches and follow England and Scotland on TV, BBC iPlayer, radio, BBC Sounds and BBC Sport Online

We are heading to Germany for UEFA Men's Euro 2024 and BBC Sport is giving fans unrivalled access to all the action, analysis and entertainment on TV, BBC iPlayerRadio, BBC Sounds And On-line.

The BBC will show England’s first two group matches against Serbia on 16 June And Denmark on 20 June on TV as Gareth Southgate's side begin their bid to go one step further than they did at Euro 2020. The BBC will also show Scotland's group matches against Switzerland on June 19 and Hungary on June 23 following their impressive qualifying campaign in which they suffered just one defeat.

Football fans can follow coverage of a crucial opening weekend with live commentary of the opening match between Germany and Scotland on BBC Radio 5 Live. The first match to be broadcast by the BBC is on Saturday night when defending champions Italy take on Albania live on BBC One.

Kelly Cates and Steve Crossman will be presenting 5 Live's non-stop daily programming with Mark Chapman, covering all 51 Euro matches. BBC football correspondent John Murray will lead the radio commentary team.

BBC Sport's digital services will provide viewers with dynamic and exciting coverage of Euro 24, with the best live coverage, every goal, analysis and breaking news. Fans can follow the action from all 51 matches and watch the drama unfold all day, every day, on any device, from anywhere in the world.

Popular presenters Gary Lineker, Gabby Logan, Mark Chapman and Alex Scott will lead the coverage on TV and BBC iPlayer, broadcasting from the studio in the heart of Berlin with live commentary on matches from all ten host cities in Germany, including Hamburg, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, Dortmund, Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich.

The brand new BBC iPlayer Euro Channel is the meeting place for all football fans with pre-match content, including special reports and matches from the Euro archive, focusing on the biggest games of the tournament.

Fans will be able to watch 27 matches live during the tournament, plus additional analysis, mini highlights, home nation training reports and the new highlights programme 'Euros Breakdown' with Alex Scott, which delves deeper into the key matches and offers exclusive match reaction and insight into the most exciting encounters.

Former England internationals Micah Richards, Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer, Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard, Ellen White and Joe Hart will be in the studio for England. Scotland will be represented in the reporting by David Moyes, James McFadden and Rachel Corsie.

Also in the studio is two-time European champion and football legend, former Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas. Brentford manager Thomas Frank is in the team for England's match against Denmark and some other group matches. Ashley Williams, who captained Wales during their remarkable semi-final run in 2016, is also in the team.

Kelly Somers will be covering England's training camp throughout the tournament. Eilidh Barbour will be accompanying the Scottish team.

TV commentators are Guy Mowbray, Robyn Cowen, Vicki Sparks, Steve Wilson, Steve Bower and Jonathan Pearce. Co-commentators are Jermaine Jenas, Danny Murphy, Martin Keown, James McFadden and Alan Shearer, who will commentate on England's opening match against Serbia on 16 June.

Mark Chapman, Kelly Cates and Steve Crossman will host the games live from Germany on the radio on BBC 5 Live and BBC Sounds.

Radio commentary is provided by John Murray, Ian Dennis, Alistair Bruce-Ball and Vicki Sparks. They are joined by a host of former internationals including Chris Sutton, Matthew Upson, Pat Nevin, Izzy Christiansen, Conor Coady and Dion Dublin, who all act as co-commentators. Also featuring are Theo Walcott, Clinton Morrison, Paul Robinson, 2016 European Championship winner Jose Fonte, Jen Beattie, Robert Huth, Stephen Warnock and Mario Melchiot.

At the tournament opener against hosts Germany on 14 June, Kenny MacIntyre will present BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound live from the Allianz Arena in Munich. Liam McLeod will provide Sportsound commentary, alongside Steven Thompson and Leanne Crichton, who will give their insights into the start of the Scottish season.

There will be a highlights programme on BBC Scotland, presented by Jonathan Sutherland and with analysis by Neil McCann.

Scotland's other two group matches, against perennial qualifiers Switzerland and Hungary, who reached the knockout stages in 2016, will be broadcast live on BBC One Scotland and BBC Radio Scotland. Liam McLeod will be in the commentary box with Neil McCann for the live broadcast of the match against Switzerland in Cologne on 19 June. The highlights programme on BBC Scotland will be presented by Jonathan Sutherland and analysed by Neil McCann.

Kenny MacIntyre presents Sportsound on BBC Radio Scotland live from Cologne and Alasdair Lamont will provide live commentary along with Steven Thompson and Leanne Crichton.

Liam McLeod will commentate live on BBC One Scotland alongside Neil McCann on Scotland’s final group match against Hungary on 23 June in Stuttgart.

Jonathan Sutherland will join Neil McCann to present highlights of the game on BBC Scotland.

At BBC Radio Scotland, Kenny MacIntyre presents Sportsound live from Stuttgart and Alasdair Lamont comments together with Steven Thompson and Leanne Crichton.

BBC Spòrs will deliver cross-platform content on BBC ALBA, Radio Nan Gaidheal and BBC Sounds, with live inserts and packages from the Scotland national team and fans travelling to Germany on An Là News with Allan Macleod and on the @BBCSpors social media pages.

Radio Nan Gàidheal will also cover Scotland's group matches with commentary from Alasdair Maclennan and Calum Macdonald.

Studio analysis will be hosted by John Morrison and will include Carrie MacNeil, Stuart Urquhart and Ruairidh Alasdair Maclennan, while the SpòrsCast podcast series will also preview the tournament.
