Poland vs Netherlands Euro 2024 time, live stream, TV channel, lineups for Group D match

Poland and the Netherlands open Group D of the 2024 European Championship and will meet on June 16 at Hamburg's Volksparkstadion. The Dutch easily qualified for the tournament and are aiming for their second European title. Poland, on the other hand, had a more difficult path and made it through a playoff.

Poland have won five games in a row and are hoping to progress from the group stage, entering their fifth consecutive tournament, but their star striker Robert Lewandowski is injured, which could potentially clip their wings.

The Netherlands, winners of the 1988 European Championship, have not reached a semi-final in 20 years. Ronald Koeman's side are determined to change that. The Dutch come in with plenty of momentum after recently sweeping Canada and Iceland 4-0 in friendlies.

Captain Virgil van Dijk will lead a solid defence, but the team will miss Frenkie de Jong in midfield. Will the Poles come out on top or will the Dutch dance their way to victory? Tune in on Sunday to find out!

Prediction Poland vs. Netherlands

  • Result prediction: Poland – Netherlands 0:2

The Netherlands are favourites for their Euro 2024 opening match against Poland, and for good reason. The Dutch have won six of their last ten matches, showing exceptional form and consistency. In contrast, Poland have won three and drawn three of their last six matches.

With Poland without their star striker Lewandowski, they could have problems both in attack and in defending set pieces. Many experts believe that the Netherlands will aim for the semi-finals and can score a comfortable win there.
