A classic Christmas will air in Great American Christmas 2024

It may be warm and sunny outside, but that doesn't stop Great American Family from announcing a new, original Christmas film: A Vintage Christmas.

The film will air as part of the network's Great American Christmas program and stars Merritt Patterson and Christopher Russell. Read on to learn more about the new film and its cast.

A Vintage Christmas at Great American Family

Fan favorites Merritt Patterson and Christopher Russell star in a new, original Christmas film, A Vintage Christmas. According to the press release, Tessa Findlay (Patterson) is a dedicated historian and preservationist in her hometown of Oak Creek. She's also an old-fashioned, passionate protector of nostalgia.

Meanwhile, sparks fly when business developer Noah Harrington (Russell) comes to town with plans to demolish an abandoned post office and replace it with a modern office complex.

This is leading to internal and external struggles among many members of the Oak Creek community to find an acceptable solution. And as the clock ticks toward Christmas, the race begins to settle the dispute through concessions and compromise.

Where have you seen the cast before?

Merritt Patterson, who plays Tessa Findlay, has previously appeared in “'Twas the Text Before Christmas,” “Jingle Bell Princess,” and others.

She stars alongside Christopher Russell as Noah Harrington and is known for her roles in several films, including Peppermint and Postcards and A Dash of Christmas.

No details are currently available about the other cast members of the film “Great American Christmas.” However, “A Vintage Christmas” is directed by Colin Budds.
